How would you describe the perfect battlefield?

I dont mean "one with no casualties" or crap like that. I mean Hot cold mud sand lightning snow dark light smoke what kinda weapons/enemies/ etc.How would you describe the perfect battlefield?
There is no perfect battlefield; it depends on who you are. You're ideal battlefield depends on who you are. A modern, mechanized army would not enjoy the jungles or mountanous terrain a guerrila army might enjoy.
For me personally, I would like to be up against an enemy that is aggressive but to quick to act. He would be on an open dirt field with shrubs along with me. It would be a little windy and not too hot. He would rely mainly on his infantry and i would have a few raptors and some A-10s backing me up. His forces would be much more concentrated than mine, and I have the element of surprise.How would you describe the perfect battlefield?
Probably evil robots with Ak-47s fighting good zombies with chainsaws and uzis in the middle of downtown manhattan. There would be lots of smoke and it would be hailing with lightning. Also, Godzilla would be battling king kong in central park

My friend said he played this game (limited edition) and he said it's not great. He said especially online, the bullet goes pretty slow and u have to shoot the opponent a little bit in front of them. is that true? maybe because he played the limited edition, do u think? but a LOT of people love this game, so answer my questions plz!What do you think about Battlefield Bad Company 2?
1- Graphics are good... Comparing them too MW2 there a little behind... but almost everything ( from fences, trees and buildings ) are destructible.. .so if you throw that in mind its even... but its still looking good.



2- controls are good ( for me ) but the knifing and grenades are wierd.. you can try diff layouts but there all wierd... and controlling vehicles takes some time...



3- Deffinently more slow paced. There can be alot of times ( depending on map and game ) where you can be almost non stop firing... but its no where near as fast paced as MW2... which to me can be a good thing. Makes it more stealthy for snipes, more about teamwork and calling out stuff

( seeing how you dont have to worry bout people spawning right next to you ) and you wont get nearly as mad... i've maybe yelled once for the 2 months or so that i've had it.. no joke... makes me feel relaxed when playing a shooter ( which is wierd )



4- I say its fun. I enjoy it alot because of alot of reasons. Most which i named above and destructible enviroments, vehicles, and when you have a good team that communicates... its really fun.



5- Yes same as above... but most people dont have/use mics sadly



6- This ones a toughy... it does have good weapons.. .but the good ones you have to earn by unlocking them ( non of the cheap " we'll start everyone with a famas" crap like MW2.. .so the better you get... the more of a tank you feel.



Bullets arent slow ( your friend is just tripping ) but this game does make it more "realistic". Meaning you have to shoot in front of someone running etc, and higher when there further away... I love that... its really more fun ( in my opinion ) when your a sniper. Especially if you every shot one from a good distance, makes you feel like its an actual gun. I say at least rent it for a day or two. I know not every game is for everyone but you should give it a chance.What do you think about Battlefield Bad Company 2?

This game is alright i mean it's more of a cartoon. Modern Warfare 2 way more realistic and actually has good online and guns. Don't get me wrong Battlefield Bad Company 2 is good, it's mainly your preference mine is MW2.

Guy above me is right. They just have not released the information on the last two unlocks yet. I am sure they will soon, until then, play the demo and get to rank 4.

its a glitch that everyone who plays bc2 is experiencing. your stats are still there and are still updating, it's just that your stats page isn't displaying them correctly (or at all). the developers should come up with a fix for this pretty soon.

I know that some of the weapons were unlocked only by doing certain things such as checking your stats online after a game, preordering the game, getting to rank 4 in the demo, etc.

when you start gaining ranks you can get new weapons. when you are at your class screen in the upper right hand corner of each class there is this icon that looks like an up and down arrow. you would click on that when you have the weapon unlock. if you dont have any weapons unlocked it would be grayed out.Battlefield 2 weapon upgrade?
latest is 1.4x you can go to www.gamershell.com and it should be in the top 10 most downloaded. when you are trying to join a ranked server and if you are not in the right version there is usually a ! on the left where is shows the little icons.

go to the homepage (www.bf2s.com) and you can access forums. This site has 10's of 1000's members.
When you choose your class before you spawn, there is a silhouette of your primary weapon in the top right hand corner. It depends on the server, but rank has nothing to do with a different weapon. To change, click the arrow to the right or left (I forget which side it's on) and the gun should change. Some servers disable this option or jsut eliminate it, so again, it depends on the server. After you choose the weapon of the class, just choose your spawn point like you nomally would.

You don't need to keep it, you need only to play the match, then you can uninstall the expansion if you wish.

You get nothing. The ranking system and unlocks are for online only.

To play online on ranked servers you need to install the 1.41 patch. On 1st September you will need to install the 1.50 patch (2gb) when it is released.



That would be a good time to start playing online as there are some gameplay fixes in patch 1.50 that the pro's will have to get used to, so everyone will be a n00b (new player), the patch also gives you 8 new maps, all multiplayer I believe.



If playing online is not an option, then try a mod from the battlefieldsingleplayer website or forum, or try Allied Intent Xtended (AIX).
