What are some of the common problems on today's battlefield during war?
For example, I know that a problem during the past couple of wars had been jamming of weapons, now it's kinda fixed but of course it still happens. What are some problems TODAY that occur? (not just limited to firearms)

3- Deffinently more slow paced. There can be alot of times ( depending on map and game ) where you can be almost non stop firing... but its no where near as fast paced as MW2... which to me can be a good thing. Makes it more stealthy for snipes, more about teamwork and calling out stuff
( seeing how you dont have to worry bout people spawning right next to you ) and you wont get nearly as mad... i've maybe yelled once for the 2 months or so that i've had it.. no joke... makes me feel relaxed when playing a shooter ( which is wierd )
4- I say its fun. I enjoy it alot because of alot of reasons. Most which i named above and destructible enviroments, vehicles, and when you have a good team that communicates... its really fun.
5- Yes same as above... but most people dont have/use mics sadly
6- This ones a toughy... it does have good weapons.. .but the good ones you have to earn by unlocking them ( non of the cheap " we'll start everyone with a famas" crap like MW2.. .so the better you get... the more of a tank you feel.

its a glitch that everyone who plays bc2 is experiencing. your stats are still there and are still updating, it's just that your stats page isn't displaying them correctly (or at all). the developers should come up with a fix for this pretty soon.

In battlefield 3, do you need to unlock the SG553 in COOP, or is it available in the multiplayer engineer tree? I know it used to be only COOP, but i heard they patched it to be different. Im almost certain you do, that's what I did to unlock all the weapons they have set as unlocks for co-op. I saw someone suggested to farm level 1, but I think you're way better off farming the second mission, "Fire From the Sky" for two reasons.
1) Once you start multiplayer, you're probably going to want to fly the attack choppers and the co-op mission (2nd one) is a perfect way to practice without hurting your K/D And SPM, that and without.....pissing everyone off......I cant stand it when someone takes the heli in conquest and turns it to fiery scrap metal, but that's a whole other story.
2) You get a LOT more points for completing a round of Fire From the Sky than for completing Operation Exodus.....anytime......
I usually score between 12-14 thousand a round in Fire from the Sky vs. 9,000 to maybe 11,000 on Exodus. Time is money, or um.....unlock points so why not kill two birds with one stone, If you use the second mission you'll

This has been happening since January 12. Every time I want to play the game it says something about my profile data being corrupted and all my classes switch to default weapons and attachments. Same thing happens to controls and vehicle upgrades... Battlefield 2:MC on the 360 is the exact same as the old XBOX version however it has slightly better graphics and if i remember correctly there was no modifying of weapons in that game. If you like shooters I would suggest:
Firstly you will mostly likely have this game but Halo 3 because it is the best online experience I have ever had and there is always people to play against.
Rainbow6:vegas2- very good tactical shooter (2 shots and your dead sort of game), great online and you have limited modifting of weapons eg scope, bigger mag, laser sight, recoil stock.
Call of duty 4: I haven't played this however I have played COD5 and the mulitplayer was awesome so i guess COD4 must be similar.
Gears of War 2: Is a great shooter which is very tactical and relies on the cover "Alot" and is great on xbox live live becuase there is over 7 gametypes which include horde (u and 4 friends try to survive wave after wave of stronger and stronger enemies) and all multiplayer games can have bots which are quite good

Farcry 2: great tactical shooter with fairly good online, you pick a class then choose weapons and the like. Also it has a map editor so u can play on a map you have made meaning unlimited potential.
Lastly could try Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 i played a demo of it and it was a pretty good game. I dont know about online though.

I'd suggest Ghost Recon Advance Warfighter 1 and/or 2. The single player campaign is a compelling one but not as great as like Gears or Halo. Multiplayer still has a loyal following on both games and is really fun to play against others in the LIVE Community.
Battlefield 2:MC on the 360 is the exact same as the old XBOX version however it has slightly better graphics and if i remember correctly there was no modifying of weapons in that game. If you like shooters I would suggest:
Firstly you will mostly likely have this game but Halo 3 because it is the best online experience I have ever had and there is always people to play against.
Rainbow6:vegas2- very good tactical shooter (2 shots and your dead sort of game), great online and you have limited modifting of weapons eg scope, bigger mag, laser sight, recoil stock.
Call of duty 4: I haven't played this however I have played COD5 and the mulitplayer was awesome so i guess COD4 must be similar.
Gears of War 2: Is a great shooter which is very tactical and relies on the cover "Alot" and is great on xbox live live becuase there is over 7 gametypes which include horde (u and 4 friends try to survive wave after wave of stronger and stronger enemies) and all multiplayer games can have bots which are quite good

Farcry 2: great tactical shooter with fairly good online, you pick a class then choose weapons and the like. Also it has a map editor so u can play on a map you have made meaning unlimited potential.
Lastly could try Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 i played a demo of it and it was a pretty good game. I dont know about online though.

What game is better to play for young people interested in joining the military: Call of Duty or Battlefield 2?
What is the better preparation? In Call of Duty are there any particular weapons you suggest getting good with? What perks and killstreaks should I pick? Neither, military life is not like Call of Duty or Battlefield 2, there aren't any killstreaks or perks and you don't get shot and magically come back to life with a few deep breaths or a magic syringe.
I suggest, if you want to find out what it MIGHT be like in the battlefield is to go and join an air soft club but even that wouldn't prepare you for military life. That is what basic training is for.
The closest GAME to a millitary simulator is the ARMA series, ARMA II and ARMA II: Operation Arrowhead but I can tell you no game will prepare you for joining the military.

I have it and to date, it is the most realistic Mil game I have seen. its more of a simulator than a game with a plot, however, it never became overly popular for some reason, but its Dang realistic. You get shot you die. None of that lifeline mess.
Playing scrabble would help you get the job you desire in the military more than becoming expert in all the video games that exist.
Also, read some books on history written before 1970.
Study some science and math while you are at it.
We do not need a bunch of nitwits with good manual dexterity in the military.
We need people with brains who know how to use them.

Why can't I get achievements for single player in battlefield bad company 2?
I have completed the levels and a couple I completed in all three difficulties and got the M COM stations and all weapons but most of the achievements wont show up for beating the levels. Only 2 or 3 level achievements were given to me. Anyone know anything about this?

You will see crosses on your map where your teamates have low health. throw the health pack at them and you will get ten points. Also you can heal your self. Run to the hills, snipe your heart out and if you have the laser designator, use that. Ummmm, take a boat and drive behind enemy lines and take out everybody. And finally, instead of walking through doors or walking around buildings, blow a hole and the wall and jump through it.

I LOVED the first bioshock, oh the atmosphere and game play was amazing. enough to win them a game of the year awards from multiple people. But battlefield, that game has been in my life since i could run. How can I improve my aim at Battlefield 3 for the PS3?
The recoil on each weapon makes it impossible to maintain a shot on anyone. I average maybe one kill every few matches. Most matches I finish with zero kills.
Any suggestions?

Make sure to use the foregrip once you unlock it and a silencer would also help a lot. I don't think most people realize that the silencer significantly reduces recoil when used with the foregrip attachment. Pick one gun that you use the most and get used to its recoil. Know how the recoil moves and once you do, you will be able to control it better by slightly moving it opposite to the recoils direction. Get a rank up. For each rank you get you unlock one gun of your choice. To get second tier unlocks you need to buy special forces expansion and then each rank you can choose the second unlock as long as you have the first one.
Also if you get 3 ranks then buy the expansion you get 3 unlocks as it counts the ones you would have got. Also note you must complete a game of special forces online to get the unlocks on your normal bf2 account.

These are my five top weapon systems of WWII.
1) German 88, best over all weapon, anti-tank, anti-aircarft, and artillery. Probably extended European War by 6mons.
2) Essex Class aircraft carrier. Complete superiority over the Pacific, choked off Japan.
3)IL-2 Shturmovik tank busting aircraft. Shut down German qualitative armour superiority on the Eastern Front.
4)M1 Garand Rifle, the greatest infantry rifle of the war.
5)Not a traditional weapon system, but the war on battlefield infections, penicillin, probably saved more lives, except for not going to war.

I mostly play team death match.What is the best weapon set up in Battlefield 3?
Maybe use the support class, unlock Claymore's and lay them down in doorways.
Find a gun you like to use, stick a suppressor on it when you have unlocked it.
Stick a suppressor on your secondary weapon too.
If using the support class, switch your main weapon to a shotgun or something else other than an LMG which can be a bit on the BIG side for TDM.
I've barely touched TDM in #BF3, to me, it doesn't feel like like Battlefield.

You sound like an assault person that likes to kill fast so I would stick with whatever is most damage as you unlock with your level. which it tells you the stats of the gun when your customizing. You need to have the 1.41 patch installed and play online on ranked servers. You can then unlock a new weapon when you rank up.

Of course human beings after all too many disasters of war may try and learn to be prudent, and to share with one another the resources of this world through "peaceful" negotiation, but most often from all the recorded history we have learnt that armies of human beings were fighting against one another, that our soldiers and fighters died as great heroes after killing many enemies, sacrificing their life for the nation.

Battlefield 3 weapon attachments question?
When playing Battlefield 3, I noticed that when I do well and get loads of kills etc I suddenly start getting new stuff for my gun like red dot and laser, without even choosing them. Then when a new game start, they go, and I'm back with the basic gun.
And then I went to 'my solder' menu, only to see that they weren't even there anymore in the attachments, none of them. I've just got Battlefield 3 today and have played for hours, havent got used to it yet.Battlefield 3 weapon attachments question?

I originally had the just Battlefield 2, then I purchased the Battlefield Complete Collection to get the expansion and booster packs to get unlocks of weapons in the game. So I ran the Complete Collection disc and installed the expansion/boosters. Whenever I start up the game up I don't get these unlocks. I think you need to register the code from and old Battlefield game to be able to get it, if you don't have and old game, you can't get it, unless you manage to get a key generator and by miracle get a working code.
After all it's meant to reward veterans.

I don't think people are answering what you are asking. You aren't asking if Soldiers have been prosecuted for murder. That has happened and we know it will happen in the future. You are asking more about Soldiers in combat disobeying the ROE or the Law of Land Warfare? That is a lot harder to answer because it is hard to second guess a Soldier on the field of battle. But there have been cases where Soldiers have killed unarmed or surrendering enemy Soldiers and at least in one case that I can recall from WWII, the Soldier was prosecuted.
The rules are less strict then you might imagine because you don't have time to consider many rules during the actual conduct of an attack. You don't shoot obvious civilians if you can help it. You don't shoot a Soldier who is surrendering. All I know about the SS from that point is from a book "You can't get much closer than this" written by a Lt in the same battalion as Dad. He states that the first Russians he met shot to SS in the back after telling them to run off. @ Russian Officers than stayed with the 317th IR until they hooked up with Russian Forces in Austria. These 2 took special care of any SS between Buchenwald and Ebensee in Austria about a month later.....there were no survivors and no one gave a $h!t about it.
I have no idea how many court martials came about in WWII from anything on the battlefield. In Viet Nam there were more than 300 court martials for some sort of crime...rape, murder, stealing....etc. The many Vietnamese I know would like to remove John Kerry from family jewels with a dull knife. They all know who killed those in the family, they all know what the VC did, one knows better than most as he was a ARVN Officer from 1955-1975.
