Hi. I'm doing a history project and I need to describe, the scots, the english, their weapons, the battlefield, the commanders, robert the bruce, edward II, the battle. Then do a conclusion and bibliography, I also need a front cover, contents and an introduction at the beginning.

Most of the Scots army was made up of spearmen, equipped with a long spear, 8 - 10 feet in length and used for thrusting.
There were also a small number of archers, armed with a bow, troops called ribauds armed with javelins and shield, and Highlanders, armed with broadsword and a small round shield called a targe.

I spawn on the Russian team like 80% of the time so when I get dropped into the American one, I'm screwed because the M16's iron sights are absolute crap (despite it being a slightly better weapon).

first of all you can still change teams in the beginning of the round if there is an empty spot on the other team. secondly after certain amount of leveling up with certain class you will get new weapon, I do suggest to use the new weapon and not the default one they give u, only when you have unlocked all weapons for that class then go back to the default weapon. lastly I do suggest to use the same weapon till u get 500 kills, thats when you unlock the dog tags for the weapon, there is no point trying to get more than 500 kills since there are no specific reward, also by using the same weapon you will naturally learn how to deal and adjust to its recoil. with time you will get targets far away in short bursts. unless you learn verrrrry slow.How does weapon leveling and unlocking work in Battlefield 3?

I've been the admin of a server before and we've kicked plenty of players for using those types of scripts. Well, I don't know if it's possible with the 1.5 patch, but my dad's a bit paranoid with the whole divorce situation, meaning no internet on the home computer (aka, the computer I play BF2 on). I can, however, play the single player offline against the AI. Is there a way to unlock the weapons for single player mode offline? I've tried doing this one where you open a whole mess of folders and open Notepad and change some zeros to ones (if you have any idea what you're talking about).

Battlefield 2, unlocking weapons (for PC)?
Well I don't exactly like the main weapons in BF2, especially when I'm playing single player mode. Is there a way or has anyone found a way to unlock weapons to use them in single player? I've seen someone use BF2: Special Forces gear in regular BF2 but at the cost of the ridding the player of the knife and other things. I think there was a new patch recently (1.5 I think it was) but I don't know if that affected single player at all.

Listen, its not actually that hard to get the f2000 rifle or the sniper.
1. For the Sniper code, i emailed help@gamestop.com and "convinced" them they gave me the wrong code (1x0c- 4m9b...etc) and that it unlocked the machine gun instead (has happened) Gamestop was nice enough to give me a real code for the sniper. Essentially, write a nice polite email to them explaining ur problem
2. For the assault rifle, and i know it makes no sense, but the Bad Company account and demo DOES work for a veteran status on the BC homepage. (why not then just put it in the game EA?) Just follow the prompts there and say u played BC and the demo and u should unlock the f2000. If thats not enough, downloading the BF2 demo for PC and playing one match can also help. (assumed u already have an EA account linked to ur gamertag)

Listen, its not actually that hard to get the f2000 rifle or the sniper.
1. For the Sniper code, i emailed help@gamestop.com and "convinced" them they gave me the wrong code (1x0c- 4m9b...etc) and that it unlocked the machine gun instead (has happened) Gamestop was nice enough to give me a real code for the sniper. Essentially, write a nice polite email to them explaining ur problem
2. For the assault rifle, and i know it makes no sense, but the Bad Company account and demo DOES work for a veteran status on the BC homepage. (why not then just put it in the game EA?) Just follow the prompts there and say u played BC and the demo and u should unlock the f2000. If thats not enough, downloading the BF2 demo for PC and playing one match can also help. (assumed u already have an EA account linked to ur gamertag)

Battlefield bad company demo lost weapons?
I went up a frw ranks in BFBC Demo and unlocked some weapons but then lost it all and now have 0 xp. WTF?
How can I get my stuff back? Do I have to unlock it again?

The reason all this is happening is EA didn't have enough servers ready for the demo release. They actually have to have computers go through and pull down scores from matches and add the xp to your account.
They did not have enough so many people could not even gain xp at all. Some had trouble finding games (because it wasn't just xp servers in shortage, it was dedicated servers too).
I am not sure what will happen when they catch up with the demand for servers. You may receive all your xp at once and get everything back, or it may be lost. It will probably be lost.

Why am I only getting one weapon unlock at Battlefield 2?
I have recently bought Battlefield 2 Complete Collection. I was told that if I had the Special Forces expansion, I'd get 2 weapon unlocks per rankup. I've currently ranked up to lance corporal, and received one unlock only. I know SF is installed because when I click on the community tab, I can switch to Special Forces game mode. YES! On unranked, they usually are already unlocked, and singeplayer requires you to unlock hem by rank unless it is the demo. Weird, maybe the unranked you are going to don't allow that? You know how to switch weapons right? Press enter and click on the arrows.

I have the same thing. Sometimes it lets me use the ak74m. It's a bit annoying as I've un-locked a load of equipment for this gun but can't always use it (as I haven't officially un-locked it).

Because it would be unfair to players not using cheats. Punkbuster will ban you if you use cheats, if you get on the master banlist which is streamed to all ranked servers you will not be able to play online on ranked servers at all.

hey today i just logged on the BFBC2 and i noticed that my weapons have disappeared. This is only with my weapons not my stats or anything, and when i go in to my stats i can see that it says I've unlocked those guns. I think I know what you are talking about. Sometimes after a mtach and it goes onto the after action report where you see how much you have progressed for each class, sometimes the guns don't show up there. That is not something to worry about. Your guns haven't disappeared it's just an issue with THAT server. You still progress and you still unlock weapons you just don't see the gun that you are on at that time. Don't worry if you really want to see how much you have left to unlock to the next gun simply switch servers and it should be fine. This happens with some of the servers that I play on. So you guns are not gone you just sometimes don't see them in the after action report after a match. Hope this helps! Yes. The most simplified and widely used version is the one you heard about on the news about a mob supression system.
They are used widely in defensive countermeasures such as confusing a seeker warhead or on a satellite destroying ICBM's.
As for weapons deployed in Iraq the answer is no. The latest laser system deployed to Iraq was the Northrop Grumman's Tatical High Energy Laser System. But again this is only a defensive countermeasure.

In theory it would kill an enemy by using high powered microwave radiation and while it did manage to kill a few small creatures like rabbits in a laboratory It required far too much energy to kill a human being with it at any kind of distance.
Right now the most lasers and energy weapons and can do is irritate the hell out of enemy soldiers or confuse the guidance systems in bombs or missles.
Not of the type you seem to mean. Already mentioned are sound used to disorient crowds and one which causes a sensation of heat or burning. Developed as non lethal weapons largely for crowd control. The one closest to deployment if not canceled by Congress is the Airborne Laser. This is a large chemical laser to be mounted in a 747. It would be used to target tactical missles on the battlefeild.
Ground based tests were done a few years ago and flight testing was to start about 2 yr. ago.
They are used widely in defensive countermeasures such as confusing a seeker warhead or on a satellite destroying ICBM's.

Some of the weapons transfer, but not all. Most of the weapons in Battlefield 3, are new. The ranking system is taken from Battlefield Bad Company 2, and WILL be in Battlefield 3. The ranks though, are different. The experience you gain, would be the same for kills, destroying tanks, damaging tanks etc. But there are more points to gain in Battlefield 3, like suppression bonus, ordering your squad etc.

Assuming you're alive after the blast, I don't see a reason why the older systems would not work, with that being said electronics don't fare up to well to the EMP, then again there are things to consider like what type of nuke and what attitude did the explosion did occur. I not a knowledgeable in nuclear warfare so just my 2 cents.

They shouldn't check your internet connection because if your connection is low then it will show everything as being reset its happened to me a few times.

you get the UZI in the full game not the demo.
After you unlock it in the Demo, when you go into the full game, it will read your harddrive and give you the UZI as unlocked.

I kinda feel like a geek for asking about details from a video game but I don't care. Anyway, has anybody heard what the weapons/vehicles will be in BF3 yet? I've gone too a few websites but the only weapons/vehicles they show are from BFBC2. Has EA just not released the details yet and if they haven't do you know when they may? I unlocked weapons in battlefield 2 (In BFHQ there is an unlock sign next to the weapon), but they dont show up in my kit. How do I use these guns????

As I couldn't hit a barn door with the snipers in BF3 I tend to play the Recon as CQC combatant using the 870MCS (shotgun), UMP-45, PDW-R or P-90 (you unlock them at different ranks and you should get all the attachements by the time you get the next one). As specialization I prefer whichever complements your squad, usually (Squad) Sprint but when you are more or less on your own (Squad) Ammo.
As for Engineer I prefer the G36C, before that I played with the A-91. The specialization is a now-brainer: (Added) Explosives which will later automatically upgrades to Squad (Added) Explosives.
Support... I switch between the M27 IAR, M240B and M60E and (Squad) Suppression, (Squad) Ammo and (Squad) Cover (as I said it depends on what the rest of the squad is using).
Across all classes I use the M9 or MP443 Tactical - the tac-light gives you a slight edge and when you need to use it you are most likely dead anyway.

To judge a weapons power you really need to compare the ammo that the weapon uses. You can view this when you go to 'my soldier' in the game menu, choose 'customise' and press triangle, y or what ever button it is for pc that allows you to see the information on the gun. it might be just a glitch from the game or you might only be able to use the weapons in multiplayer cuz itz only single player im not sure though typical EA for doing something like that. that happens to me on battlefield 2142 where it doesnt read your stats off for awhile so you have to let it process and generate your status and it might work
