Can you mix weapons and classes in BF BC2?

Battlefield Bad Company 2 should be arriving at my house in the next few days.



Is it possible to mix weapons with different classes? Say, can I use the M416 as an Engineer? Or the Scar L as an assault?

You aren't given as much freedom to mix up your classes as you are in Call of Duty. But yes to a certain extend you can mix classes

No. Weapons are locked to their classes, sorry. But some weapons are in multiple classes, but not many.
