What game is better to play for young people interested in joining the military: Call of Duty or Battlefield 2?

What is the better preparation? In Call of Duty are there any particular weapons you suggest getting good with? What perks and killstreaks should I pick? What class (scout, medic, engineer, etc) in BF2 do you think is the best preparation for joining the military? What game is better to play for young people interested in joining the military: Call of Duty or Battlefield 2?
Neither, military life is not like Call of Duty or Battlefield 2, there aren't any killstreaks or perks and you don't get shot and magically come back to life with a few deep breaths or a magic syringe.

I suggest, if you want to find out what it MIGHT be like in the battlefield is to go and join an air soft club but even that wouldn't prepare you for military life. That is what basic training is for.

The closest GAME to a millitary simulator is the ARMA series, ARMA II and ARMA II: Operation Arrowhead but I can tell you no game will prepare you for joining the military.
each game is like a simulation of joining the army. some prefer one game over the other it just depends on your interest.

you should get better with whichever gun you want to use when you are in the army. like if you want to be a sniper don't get used to using a mg.

if you want to be in the air force try using the helicopter kill streaks to get a glimpse of what it will be like.

playing a game is not like shooting a real gun though and killing someone in a game is not the same as killing someone in real life.

some people cant handle shooting someone else.

when some people join the army they shoot high or they pretend to be doing something else.

you also have to have a good stomach because there will be many casualties and it is nothing like seeing it in a game. What game is better to play for young people interested in joining the military: Call of Duty or Battlefield 2?
I don't know that a video game will prepare you for anything, but as for realism of the play, I will definately agree with the post that said Operation Flashpoint. I have it and to date, it is the most realistic Mil game I have seen. its more of a simulator than a game with a plot, however, it never became overly popular for some reason, but its Dang realistic. You get shot you die. None of that lifeline mess.
Playing scrabble would help you get the job you desire in the military more than becoming expert in all the video games that exist.

Also, read some books on history written before 1970.

Study some science and math while you are at it.

We do not need a bunch of nitwits with good manual dexterity in the military.

We need people with brains who know how to use them.

And while you are thinking about the things that you have read, go out and offer to cut the grass of an elderly neighbor to learn what service is all about and to keep your body as fit as your brain. What game is better to play for young people interested in joining the military: Call of Duty or Battlefield 2?
Any combat video game is as likely to make you a good soldier as playing Tiger Woods Golf is likely to get you on the PGA Tour.

In short, video games have nothing to do with preparing you for reality.
Neither are anything like the real military.

(Not a real game, but it proves a point)
lol. haven't figured out the difference between video games and real life yet? any weapon you choose in your game is the same; it's you clicking a mouse, nothing more.
Battlefield between those 2 but you want arm a 2 (ultra realistic army sim) as it will be best
If you do join the military, why not play both to increase your chances of "survival" haha
Whichever one involves your First Sergeant making you mop all day for coming in 13 minutes early (instead of the 15 minutes early which makes you on time).
Yet another one that thinks any game has anything to do with the military.

"A gamer and his brain are soon parted."
Operation Flashpoint if you're serious it is supposed to be an actual Sim of warfare
attack dogs lol
just learn to kill and you will do great
