How do you tell them apart...besides the range and modes is their anything different between them like fire rate or accuracy, if so how do you tell?Battlefield 3 weapons?
Some have more recoil (kick upwards), some have less bullet drop (?) (snipers are more accurate) and some do more damage (kill quicker).

As you play, you'll notice that some guns kill faster than others, and some take alot more bullets (G36C). Some guns have different firing modes, like Semi Auto, 3 shot burst, or Full auto. And, some fire faster than others (AEK). Honestly, each gun handles differently so just figure out which are more accurate and faster than others.
