Am I the only one that notices that the weapons in Battlefield 2 are unbalanced?

I'm talking about the AK-type weapons versus the M-16's. While I am well aware that the AK-47 is not nearly as accurate as the M-16, I think that the game takes it a little to far. It seems that they ignored the extra take down power of the 7.62mm and exaggerated the less-than-perfect accuracy of the AK-47. This has been a considerable pain in my side since most servers want to auto-balance the teams, forcing me to the AK side of the spectrum.Am I the only one that notices that the weapons in Battlefield 2 are unbalanced?
i felt its eazier for the middle east. But only cuz i got used to them.

when i first started and didn't know how to play, i'd go to America (cuz there weapons). since i liked the middle east team, (defending) i played for them and now i like there weapons better..



i think it depends on person. fun game if u ask me.

the game manual warns that they are unbalanced, see page 93
It's all about knowing how to use the gun your are given. You gotta take the guns weakness for the advantage it brings. str vs accuracy.

I prefer the AK to all the other full auto weapons.
Well this is part urban myth as the AK-47 is accurate but even the Russian army do not train for it.
