Nope, sure cant. There is a list of things that you are not allowed to bring back, weapons found on the battlefield being one of them. Before you come back home, you go through customs, they search your bags and take any contraband.
no, theres no way you could even come close to it.
knives helmets flags etc maybe automatic weapons grenades ammo definitely not. remember the story of the marines who got busted landing in the states after desert storm with ak47s. they not only got punished by marine command but also federal law.
