Battlefield bad company weapons how do i use new weapons when i get them unlocked?

i have unlocked several new weapons but i cant figure out how to equip the new guns like sniper riffelsBattlefield bad company weapons how do i use new weapons when i get them unlocked?
well since i unlocked every thing one thing you must do is either 1.) finish a match and then equip next match or 2.) exit match after save and then rejoin a match
